I was being sarcastic. I think he might have missed my point that it wasn't just the gear that we replaced. Not sure on the distributor. We've never replaced it since we've owned it. Looked at it when we had the motor apart a few years back when we did the rebuild and it seemed fine then. The cam we are running is a custom ground cam. I believe Hood did it a few years back. I'd have to go back and look at the specs on the cam card.

Truck pulls good with zero break-up. Went down to Car Craft over the weekend and saw a couple other Tys. No Syclones down there. But it was fun.

If it's a billet cam you need to put a bronze gear on the new distributor, or it's probably going to look like the one you removed again in relatively short order.
