boost controller....will it solve take off problems??

im thinking about buying a boost controller....im losing to the wrx's and new z28 camero's..camn nyone help me out here???i cant get any boos off the launch...when i power brake to get boost ill get only like 4 lb boost before i start....wouyld a boost contrller do the trick?????please help me out...thanks JOHN

I think you should do the tuneup mentioned in the SyTy Readme. Especially the spark plugs and wires part, and the distributor cap and rotor part. I dropped 9 tenths doing that and fixing my boost wiring problem, from 14.22 to a 13.36 without adding any performance parts.

I would say try the SyTy Readme to the left. There is lots of great information of tried and trued solutions to many of teh common problems :smile:

There is an important difference in what you said and what I said and the items linked in the two. You said the SyTy FAQ. I said the SyTy Readme. One of these things is not like the other.

i use a HKS boost controller and get about 13 lbs of boost off the line :smile: its great, can get 'a' tire off the ground....
