boost controller

As im taking the turbo out of the sy for the upgrade i notice that the boost controller is shot, i look in my manual i notice it sits atop the turbo??? is this right, i did a search on the boost controller no luck, any ideas or refrence material on this matter???

after more csi work it looks likes it my wastegate solenoid??? anybody have the part number or replacement ##

You mean the "boost control Solenoid"? if so it's part GM # 1997152 according to here http://www.sytyauthority.net/

What he said. A new is is around 15 bucks at your local GM store. I can guarantee you it won't be in stock, they will have to order it.
