bov ?

I dont know much about blowoff valves just their main purpose. I noticed on imports when they just rev the motor it will blow off just as they were driving. I have to be driving to blow it off. Why is this? I heard a sound clip of one guys Sy with a Turbo XS RFL just reving and blowing off. Is it a certain way hook it up or am I just crazy. Thanks for any help. Sorry if the answer was in another post.

Sometimes depends on what valve you are running. I have a HKS SSQ and can rev it in p/n and it will blow off. Always been like that no matter what adjustment I have it on.

I know that. I just was wondering if there was a certain reason why.

cause they are imports.. They probably have the bov sounds recorded on CD, and you are hearing it through the stereo.

Either that, or the $99 G reddy BOV is just leaking, which explains why they can only make 5psi.

shit. I looked at the part number on my BOV and it matches the one in the link. I got screwed. Least that solves my question. I upgraded the speaker to an infinity 6x9 so you can hear it loud and clear now. It really is a RFL now.
