Brakes - Looking for input.

I'm looking for some direction...

This week I am picking up front (upper control arm, calipers and rotors) and rear (calipers, backing plate/mounting block & rotors) LS1 F-body brakes from a local wrecking yard.

I am running 17" ZR1 clones.

I am probably going to keep ABS.

My issue is that I have a '94 Z28, which has the smaller. LT1 brakes and I would like to upgrade that car, as I found the limits of those brakes at the Motorsport Ranch (Cresson, TX) during a session (went completely away - must have set up the suspension TOO good)

That being said, is it practical to just install my "old" LT1 stuff on my Syclone (fronts may already be the same - I haven't really compared them), and use the LS1 brakes on my Camaro?

I've tried the Aluminum Drum/Bigger Wheel Cylinders/2-rear-shoes fandango and I can't even get that stuff together (charge that to O'Reilly's incompetance).

Thanks,

Chris

Is their a bracket difference between the LT1 and LS1 setups? Its seem like it would be a lot easier to just run LS1's on your Sy, maybe its just me but I would say screw the F-body :D

I wanted another Fbody when I got my Typhoon. But I told my wife I wanted a fun hot rod that the family could enjoy and I wanted something rare....nothing better suits that than a Typhoon.
