broken passenger seat

i think i have broken the passenger seat in my 93 is this a common problem. i know the cause...sneaky boosted launch with no warning. 200 lb friend leaning towards the glove box slam now the seat has lots of play. its not in the attachment screws so i think its internal. are there good seats that are lighter and just as comfortable. thanks

or you could go to a boneyard and get a bucket from a Blazer or S10 extended cab. I got some buckets for $20, in like new condition, and i love them. BTW the ones from blazers and S10 ext. cabs recline, a nice feature.

He's got a Ty though. Ty seats already recline. It'd be tough to find something comparable to a fat man seat in the junkyard. Especially one that doesn't already have the flop. Just about every Ty I've ever driven has the floppy passenger seat, my own included. I just keep the belt buckled. It looks better that way anyhow.
