Bumped into another Ty in Chicago Today

Took out my Ty for the first time this year and decided to drive it to an old car hangout called Dukes. While getting a shake for my son, low and behold, I see another Ty pull up right next to mine. As they were driving by, they spotted my truck parked in the lot and decided to pull in to check it out. It was cool seeing another Ty in the Chitown area as I was not expecting it. Hope to meet up with more SyTy owners this summer at some of the local car hangouts. Took a photo of the two trucks parked next to each other but my phone takes crappy photos in the dark. Mine is the one on the right. Enjoy...

I'm around, DD my Ty to the city every day It needs a paint job, Def not as good looking as those 2 trucks in the pic, but it runs,....For now!!

It is nice to see there a few of these trucks around in the Windy city. Hope we can all get together some day this summer. Wonder how many more are in Chicago area? I know of a couple other owners that I meet last year.

would that be dukes down by 79th. & harlem ? i havent been there in years.. still as happening on a friday night as it used to be ? theres a few northside trucks , i meet a few guys at the rolling meadows meets acouple times , a good bunch of guys.. i also know of two trucks running around my area that arent on here but i've told them about syty.

Yup. Dukes on Harlem, but no one hangs around there any more. I have been wanting to go to the Rolling Meadows one. Shoot me an email when you plan to head up there and maybe I can meet you up there with the TY. I see there a few trucks here afterall. I live south near Midway airport area. Cool.....

BTW, Toyota park also host a car show on Thursdays and that is where most people meet now. I wish it were Friday or Saturday instead of a weekday though. Take care.
