Busted heater core

If anyone in the Hampton Roads area has some spare time and wants to get under the hood of a "new" truck, my wife tells me my Ty just sprung the heater core, and I've still got two more weeks until we're back from deployment. Any help would be appreciated, she's mechanically inclined, likes to work on her Paseo, but is nervous when it comes to the Typhoon. TIA :tup:

Tell her to get some heater hose and some hose clamps. Just bypass it for the mean time until you get back. That can atleast get her back on the road and stop coolant going there from the radiator. If you need more info on how to do that just holla.
