Can't speak for others, but I used the Summit double roller myself. We also put the same one in SyGuy 0024's truck. I will tell you this though.....after the chains came in from summit, other than saying summit on the box, they were the same as the double rollers at the local parts house. THe box was identical, the parts were identical. The only difference was that the summit logo had been printed on the top of the box. I coulda saved $15 by not ordering it from summit.
Others may disagree, but I don't think you are going to gain or lose much by a particular brand of chain. I have talked to some who have gone gear drive and had false knock issues..(don't do it). Or you could always go JESEL belt drive. Either way, you got a crank turning a cam....not much high tech needed here.
