Can somebody check their seat belts for me?

If you yank on your seat belts quickly while not driving, do they lock? How about if you come to a fairly quick stop, Does your belt lock up? I am starting to think that maybe my belts aren't supposed to lock when you yank quickly. I checked the weights inside and they are freely moving. I also checked a few other s10's and they don't lock either. When I come to a quick stop they don't lock. I don't want to purchase a new belt from the dealer for $165 and have them do the same thing that mine do now! I can't figure this out! There is no easy solution to my problem. :banghead:

mine lock up when i launch it and don't let go for a while

i have seen 2 passengers in my ty acting paranoid and were pulling on the seat belts while launhing.

and if you stand still they won't lock

When you say "stand still" do you mean, in park?

I guess I'll have to try a boost launch and see if they lock up.
