I'm looking at a Yellow 93 6sp vette at an exotic dealer close to my house. Its got 94,000 miles but it looks like its in great condition :D . Here is the vin 1G1YY23P0P5114599. Thanks in advance. On a side note, how are the old vettes as far as reliability? Is 94,000 near the end of its life or do they hold up pretty well? Are the LT1's pretty strong? Alright im done with the questions.

My friend had a 94 lt1 and dogged it from 80,000 miles all the way up to 135ish....
I mean severely DOGGED it, had it stomped everywhere peeled out everywhere etc. He had no problems with it, the thing had a busted out window, tires peeled off etc. Occasionally it would bounce off the rev limiter and it was automatic. He sold it to a friend for 2500 dollars after his 2 year long joy ride in it with a broken window, trashed interior, no tires, brakes all messed up etc. The guy who got it next is going to have to replace the transmission or have it rebuilt since it slips majorly.
So in my opinion, they do hold up. Every guy in a vette i've seen minus my friend has pretty much babied his. Although that could just be my area?

They hold up pretty well, I had a 93 and beat the livin shit out of it the only thing I ever had break was rear u joints from doing 20 or so donuts in a row, and a friend of mine had a 95 and beat the hell out of it never did anything to it but replace the tires :D

Well someone just sent me a carfax report and it looks like it came up clean. I dont really mind the miles as long as it looks good and will hold up with a couple of hard romps on it here and there. Anyway the dealer has it on autotrader too. Here is a picture of it:
