Re: cold air box

I have seen guys run just screens on the turbo but I would not recomend it if you are street driving the truck. Most guys run a cobra, 90* and a K&n.

Re: cold air box

Depending on your rad and trans line setup.. you could pop a filter directly onto your turbo inlet and remove your headlight for all the air you could need. I have a mushroom type filter that I could almost squeeze on my rpm turbo if it wasn't for the stock trans lines to the radiator.. Haven't checked since bypassing the rad trans cooler though

Re: cold air box

pulling air from a turbo inlet filter caused an increase in IAT on my truck, all the heat coming from the fan washed into turbo, not the best place to get air from. Not running an air filter on the street is BEGGING for a disaster. How much of a restriction is a filter anyway,JMO
