whoa, i had no idea you got scope readings off of datamaster. dammit im so far behind. anyway, what temp do you need to be at to go into closed loop?

that dm post of yours says that you are 23 degrees advanced at idle. i had a bad MAP sensor that was causing that. that may be part of the problem too.

The 23*'s is normal as far as I know. If I disconnect the tan wire it will be 0. Open loop goes closed not by temp but another aspect I believe, not sure though.

I guess this low knock count is because

A) Jesse removed power to the ECM recently
and/or
B) It's an older DM version which increases your knock count by one at every knock event oposed to the latest version which steps several hundreds at once

Not a big deal anyway. :roll: However if it's not the latest and greatest DM, you should upgrade it, because

A) It's free :lol:
B) Has better understanding of the 3bar boost values, hence more accureate boost readings

How do i know i have the latest version of DM? Here is my DM info:

Version 3.4.1

Build date December 01 2001

Cal Table Date June 23 2001
