I have a Griffen radiator in my Sy that was very exspensive with a 2.5-3" core and factory oil and trans cooler fittings. I didnt want to change radiators or go with an external oil cooler to convert my oil cooler lines to braided 8AN/JIC fittings (Block to radiator cooler). So i put a conversion adapter togather that is factory steel o-ring tube fitting to male 8AN sence no such fitting is available in the aftermarket. Anyone interested on how i did this i would be glad to share or send pics via e-mail unless someone would be patient enough to explain how to post pics from a photobucket account. They are very nice btw.

well ill be damned, that one in the picture is for sure wrong. The description of the size match up though, good price.... I might have to replace mine. Not sure if the tube end is correct though, looks flared (IF) Inverted flare. Which wouldnt work.

The pic shown is probably the 8JIC x 16mm-1.5 I.F. O-Ring...
The one I'm referring to is 8JIC x 18mm-1.5 I.F. O-Ring, which may or may not work since it's flared but for $7.65 a peice it's worth a shot....

Zav bought the fittings I had custom made because I had to change radiators due to needed space. So that being said I dont know if he tried the part in the link he listed above. You would have to ask him.

Anyone have the correct fittings for the radiator? I'm going to change out my oil lines and tranny lines with braided lines this time around.
