Corvette c6 rims

Sup guys. Looking to get some rims for my 93' Ty. The ones I want are 18x10.5 56mm rear and 17x9.5 54mm front. Will these fit? I also would like to lower my truck. Is the Belltech lowering kit good? What would be the easiest and cheapest way to lowering it. Thanks

Belltech rear leafs, and adjust the torsion bars up front to lower it.

Stay away from staggered wheels because you will need tires with the exact diameter all the way around otherwise you will burn up the transfer case.

I put staggered corvette rims on mine it is just a pain to find the correct tires to get the same diameter.

It can be done, just have to pay close attention to tire diamter.

I just looked it up and the closest sizes I could find to match the diameter are
245/45R17 25.7"
245/40R18 25.7"

Not sure if a 245 would be a good tire choice for a 10.5" wide tire. Should have somthing like a 285 on it

yea that is what I was thinking but nothing on those sizes worked right. I have 255/40 18 and 295/30 19 both at 26"

275/40/17 = 315/30/18
255/45/17 = 295/35/18
265/45/17 = 305/35/18

265/45/17 = 265/40/18
265/40/17 = 265/35/18

Late to the show:

C6 never came with a 17" wheel

Front wheel: 18x8.5 offset: +56 mm

Rear Wheel: 19x10 offset: +79 mm

Diameter varies base on tire brand and tread

Here are from left to right
Sumotomo htr 275/40/17 (552mm/25.7in) - Nitto drag radial 285/35/18 (657mm/25.9in) – BFG drag 295/35/18 (663mm/26.1in)
In reality the 17” sumotomo is larger than the 18” nitto but it shouldn't be..

Your left to right tires, are not in the correct order....

you mean to tell me i could of put a 315 on the rear. i have 04 black zo6 rims 255-45-17 front and 295-35-18 rear. i got those sizes from somebody on the forum.I just checked and i can also use 265-40-17 front 25.3Dia. and 315-30-18 25.4 Dia. is this true? :rant:

Yes, it looks like you could have.

You have to look at what the manufacture says and not just a rollout calculator. Some 265/315 combos will work some will be way off.

Those are the sizes I'm getting for my new wheels. Kumho XS

315 35 17 rear

No, most in that size work out. But you can check. Just look them up on the manufactures website, should have the specs listed somewhere.
