Re: Courtesy & Dome lights are 2 fuses on a Sy?
Ran across this today, working on my 91 DD (s-10 pick up).
The fuse "HRN/DME is for the Horn, and Dome light. The one over the rear window. The fuse CLK/CTSY is for the lights under the instrument panel. I had never noticed this before.
[edit] I just confirmed this on my Syclone. Two fuses. One for under-dash lights. One for the dome light over window. Never knew this before.
The only Helms wiring diagram I have is for 1993 S/T. It shows HRN/DME is for all interior lights. There is no clk/ctsy fuse. (It's called 'tail'). My 92 Ty is the same as 93. Only one fuse. The 92 SyTy supplement doesn't have the complete IP harness in it. So I can't confirm / deny what I found by looking in diagrams. But I'm pretty sure this is a 91-only phenomenon.
Makes it easier to trouble-shoot, (and help others ) if you know 'what stops working' when a particular fuse blows. But it looks like Syclones have two fuses for the interior lights, based on what I discovered today.
