Nothing, this is really wierd, I just don't get why you would bid on so many items and only pay for some of them. Very Odd!! I am getting ready to sell my Custom Blue Ty and I was gonna list it. I still might do it, very cool truck, I have a couple of things that I have to finish on it.

Just because he's not a registered user does not mean he can't bid on items. He still can. People just have to be aware. Also you won't know if he's gotten anymore negative feedbacks. :tdown: :steamer:

It will be under a new name, that user is suspended and can't be used at all

This is truly a short coming in e-bay. You can have mutiple personalities and disreguard one of them when it no longer suits you. Our fore-fathers who wrote the rules on commerce that this country follows are crying foul. I guess it follows the golden rule. The man with the gold, makes the rules.

E-bay is the 800 pound gorilla...

well he bought won the auction on my truck. sent me the 250.00 required e-check (it has not cleared yet) I called the # for him some lady anwsered and said he would contact me within a week. who know I will let ya all know how it turns out. Hopefully all goes well and he can get some redemption ...at least here anyway.

VERY INTERESTING....now 1991gmctruck is no longer a registered user. At least when I filed a dispute for nonpayment, I didn't have to wait the required time. They immediately credited me the FVF.

I just got off the phone with John at customrestore. According to him, they should be back online shortly. He states he has paid his debt to all the sellers supposedly and ebay will be reinstating his account shortly. He said he never intented to burn people but he received over 600 emails containing phony info on parts/cars for sale etc.. that he didn't know what was real. In any case i guess ebay will decide.

Well ebay changed the bidding.It doesn't show the actual bidders anymore,just bidder1,bidder2 ect.
So now we won't know who bid on what.

Thats craptastic , now a seller can have all his buddies bid on what you really want and drive the price way up letting you have it at the last minute .:tdown: Now you will never be able to tell .

I have not got anything from custom yet but at least hes a real guy with a real business (had a local tri-5 guy check it out)so maybe it will all work out. I'll keep you guys posted.

:cool: Yes I'm still alive. Ebay is almost all cleared up. I'm still getting tons of fraudulent emails from Russia, you would think that they would give up, but they have not yet. I would be interested in the Blue Typhoon (if it is still available). My shop manager Gary or my assistant Shante would be happy to relay any messages to me, as I am not always available. My shop phone is 775-857-2963. If anyone has any Sy/Ty's for sale we would be interested in speaking with them. Thank you very much for your time.

You might want to look into getting an email with a good spam & aliased filter. All those russian email are probably fishing scheme's. I use gmail for all my online activity and it does a very good job.

for what its worth, he bought a friends red/red typhoon, paid (even though i do believe it took awhile for the checks to arrive) and my friend was happy with the deal.

so customrestore is legit.
