Dahlonega,GA Sy #1169 "Found her"

Finally tracked the girl driver of the Sy down. Her's is #1169, and the poor things in bad shape. Very faded paint, left rear bed cladding missing, Interior by "Redneck Beer can Customs",
Exterior by "Mud-flinging Hillbilly B us".

I don't want to think of what may be wrong w/ the engine. Well, at least the dash isn't cracked and most of the inside looks like it's all there.

I would have asked her if I could take a pic, but I wouldn't want anybody to see how bad it is. It really is terrible. I sure wish she would sell it to a "Good home".

Glad you finally found her . So what other stuff did you find out. How she got it and is she the original owner? Did you get her phone number? Does she know what she is driving and the value of it?

"She" doesn't actually own it, it's her boyfriend's. Yup, he knows what it's called, but he doesn't act like he knows what the truck is meant for. I didn't get to talk long, they were headed into some store for "cigs".

I got to look at her insides, but he didn't pop the hood. Absolutely trashed cab. Decals peeling, etc. He did ask about mine, had to tell him it won't be out for a while. Replacing the entire interior, then comes the motor rebuild. Maybe later some paint.

He did say he'd be "around", and would like to talk...but they were in a hurry. So, we'll see.

Sorry, didn't get to see...looked a daily beater (I mean BEAT).

If I had to guess, 150 K or more. Figure 12 yrs old, 2nd or 3rd owner, one of them had to of kept it up for some part of it's life. But she's rolling down hill fast, w/ those two driving it "just to get some cigs".

Her "Big Daddy" got him a hat that sez "Budwieser", it's got a frog on it, too.

I don't think THIS one could get some "smokes" in a hurry...but it might get "smoked" fairly quick. I'm gonna ask next time I see 'em out if they might consider selling it.

Would any body be interested in a fixer, for a project (or spare parts)?
