nope, just one battery.
and, i get like 13.4-.8 volts when it's running so i know the battery is getting a charge.

anyone know what wire(s) i can yank off the atl. when it's running to see it that's causing it?

Your truck should run onthe battery ok long enough for a test. Get a second opinion but I'd say it's the one that is connected to the battery.

from what i was told the gel batterys need to be charged slow. i had the same problem when the car was at a shop and sat for a while it started to make that noise. i had bought a charger from pep-boys (battery tender) and let it charged. when i put it on it took two days to fully charge. everything started working fine. i have two batterys a red in the front and a yellow in the back and also bought a $1000 alternatur to keep up with everything the yellow runs my system.
