One of my friends has this S15 95 GMC 4 door Jimmy with a 4.3 that wants me to use my laptop and DataMaster to find a problem or 2 with his truck. It hick ups or misses irregularly. On 2 occasions it stranded his wife and daughter in the middle of an intersection. Doesn’t seem to generate codes.
He has done most all of the start off stuff like replace the battery cables, replace fuel filter, check fuel pressure, replace ignition module (twice), air filter, spark plugs….. He has had this problem for 3 years now (still doesn’t like it).
Will the DataMaster that I use on my Typhoon work on his truck any at all or is there a better solution for free (I already paid for my DataMaster and laptop). He is a local fireman and doesn't have deep pockets.
Please, any suggestions.
