diagnostic problem!!!!!!!

Hi I seen the post about a week ago about a code 12 problem.. Well I have a code 12 problem but it is not the ecm fuse..... The code reads
Diagnostic mode; no distributor signal to electronic control module; system PASS....... What does it mean???????? :roll: I have to have the padel on the floor to get it started, but it will not stay running.. And gas is getting in my oil......... TOOOOOOO rich I THINK!!!!!!!!!! I droped the motor in about 8 month ago and has never left my garage....... Could it be the blitz boost control, 3 map bad, distributor????????

Code 12 is normal operation.

"This code will flash whenever the diagnostic terminal is grounded with the ignition turned On and the engine not running. If additional trouble codes are stored in the ECM then they will appear after this code has flashed 3 times. If this code appears while the engine is running, no reference pulses from the distributor are reaching the ECM."
