Hey here's a little story for you...

One night I'm driving along on my way home from the illegal drags... and I pull up next to this tacoma... we start to go faster... then faster.... then just let loose.... seeing as i had just finished thrashing my truck for the night and it was studdering and pinging and shit... i went about 60% throttle.... and he stayed right with me on the street....

same thing on the freeway, 60%.... i let him go ahead up this hill cause the syclone wasn't having it that night... 10# boost hurt it or something, needed a rest....

so i let the turbo cool down the rest of the way home...

he takes my exit, and i tell him to pull up next to me.... he pulls up and i say "supercharger right?"..... the cocky little fuck was like "yeah, i just got it... it's a 2wd i had a SC put in..... i used to have an integra" i said cool.... told him what my truck was... and he was just like "ehh cool whatever..."

i went home wishing that i had wasted him WOT...

so.... a weekend goes by... i am out solo without my girlfriend... this cocksucker pulls up next to me in race central sunrise ave..... we hit a light.... i ate his shit by 3 car lengths.... with NO launch.... and i started out slow to see if he was gonna race. (he did of course).

he rolls down the window and says "that AWD is killing me"

i said "no... me having way more power is killing you, next time i'll push the gas"

i go home..... call my girl..... and this is the worst part......

he's 23, married, AND WAS HITTING ON MY 17 YEAR OLD GIRLFRIEND AT BLACK ANGUS EARLIER THAT NIGHT... (i'm 19 so don't think i'm gross for having a 17yo girl)

next time i see that fucking idiot i am gonna waste him so bad.... there will be no doubt in his import racer head that he is my little supertaco bitch.

Doesn't surprise me you wasted him, my best friend is a mechanic for toyota (took the T10 course, ect...) anyways his advice to me was stick to Chevy, Ford or Dodge, they know what they're doing.

And good look to the owners of Supras that take em to the dealers, was also told that mechanics won't tell the owners what is completely wrong with em cause they're too damn hard to work on.

Hey I'm just telling how it is. and I know because I've seen it first hand, 4runner = shit (two different types and years, 94' and 98'LT - both V6) nothing like being stranded 8hrs from home! :evil:

Other day raced a Lexus SUV in my 00'LT Blazer (Stock 4.3) - handed him his ass! The look on his face was, "DAMN!!! I just wasted alot of money and my dick is STILL small!"

Now Toyota is trying to get in the V8 market?
They should stick to what they know! 4 cylinder motors, dad had one in his truck and was great for getting from point A to B. Wife had one in her corolla, it was a great "litte" gas-saving-car (not riced), but we now have a son, so we needed something bigger, stronger and safer!

So in the end, I'm trusting insider info vs. worked up people. :grin:

As for Sy/Ty diag. and repairs by the dealer, I never said that they did it right or wrong. I for some reason seem to suspect that as this rare breed gets older and more away from stock, the harder it will be to do those things. :sad:

As for F-ucked O-ver R-ebuilt D-odges, won't drive em, I'm a Chevy man!

I couldn't help but notice in the little Dependability report that Buick is pretty high no the list. Seems odd...Buicks are made and designed by the same people as Pontiacs, Chevy's, Olds, etc. Anyone have a theory on how this is possible? Hmm...

How about this, that report is telling me that a GEO is more reliable than a Chevy!! (I know, I know, Geo's ARE Chevy's). Poop on J.D. Power and his freaking associates.

So, by J.D. Power saying that Chevy is rated below industry standard, does that mean that Chevy has better rankings than the brands listed? Seeing that the lower the number, the better? If so, I'm not sure I can beleve that.

Also, don't race the BMW 4.4i, race the 4.4is. It's faster. The 4.4i is slower than the ML55, but the 4.4is is about the same speed. I can't wait to race a Porsche Cayanne when they come out. I'll just have to be sure it's not the twin turbo version.

really? i'd rather have the 3.0 toyota 2jz motor when over any american inline 6 there is. hell even most v6s. trying to get into the v8? Toyota/Lexus has had v8s for a while. i'd rather have one of those then the older 5.7 or 5.0 chevy blocks.

do this for me. take a look. see how many recalls the Supra has, and look how many recalls a vette or a camaro or mustang and so has had.

get your V10. stock 2jz motor in a tacoma pickup with a huge turbo and some bottle went 7s. stock motor. can your v10 do the same from the factory?

If it gets into top-end then yes I admit it I don't have the top end of a Camaro, Vette, Viper, Supra. If you're afraid to race it to that point then what the hell are you doing?
