I just want to thank T-Bone for putting his neck on the line for me. I screwed up once in the past and that was about 4yrs ago. I have since sold alot of stuff on here through various friends ( you guys know who u are if u want to chime in) selling it for me. I admit i made one mistake and I actually pretty much just stay off the boards. I have a pretty clean and sick sy that i just keep to myself bc whats the point if people are going to bash u. Alot of guys in NASTE know me and know that im a stand up guy. I aplogize for stuff in the past but understand if people cant forgive and forget.
Dude pay BG the $350 you owe him.

Oh yeah and FWIW I refused to sell Bill a nice set of headers last year, because he is Bill Hardifer.

so, what do you want.....a medal OR a chest to pin it on :) ? I'll buy from him and sell to him until he personally stiffs me (or someone else again) because I try never to base my actions on a distant single incident. I hope others aren't like you because if they are, and you ever screw up, you're toast. You'd still be ok with me though

give me a more descriptive scenaro and i will tell you what iw ould want and what i would do

I meant on the topic at hand regarding the wheels. How do you fix a situation from so long ago when the variables have changed? Its fair to give the guy a chance to clear his name, I just don't see how that is possible.

As far as the giving $350 to Green for the chip he never paid for? He can just give it to me instead since I got a bogus chip and was told no warranties or refunds.

But I guess to sum it all up it doesn't come down to clearing a name.

What goes around comes around and those who do others wrong will get theirs one day. The racing community seems full of people who are out there to rip off others. There is a kid here in chicago who was handed a big business and had plenty of money. Yet he was still just locked up in chicago and somewhere in Mi for theft and forgery in an elaborate scam involving purchasing vehicles with forged checks.

You have to do your homework and know who you are dealing with. I spend about $100-$200 a month on ebay on things I like to collect. But I refuse to buy from private sellers because I do not know them. I only buy from places that I can research and know they have an actual storefront location and can be traced if need be. Since I have started doing that I have not had a single problem.

Anyway I think this post is long enough hope it offered some insight on buying over the net.

I think the fairest way for transactions to occur is for the buyer to pay 1/2 the money up front, the seller sends the goods and the buyer pays the other 1/2 after the items are verified to be as described. At least with this criteria, the most anyone would lose is 50% instead of possibly 100%. I have purposed to have someone local to the item check it out if it is a big money purchase and I can't physically be there myself after I got snookered on my 93 Typhoon.

Well Shaun I guess I should lay it all out for you, because you know I shoot straight.

Hardifer had a part sent in good faith.

He paid $50 on the $400 dollar part after a 300 lb roid rage guy showed up on his porch.

That's it. $50 paid on a $400 part. Period.

Bill NEEDS to make that right. To be right with the clan.
