edelbrock 2114 question?

If i run a set of vortec 6140 castings and a edelbrock 2114 intake manifold do i need to drill more mounting holes in heads for the intake to be bolted tighter in the center?

Or will i be fine with the normal 4 bolts per side that they come with on the factory vortec motors. This would help alot as its one less thing to have machine shop work on.

Any info or advice would be great.

My 2111 bolted right up to my old style. That 2114 should go right on the vortec that's what it's made for. All you need is injector bungs and a fuel rails to match. Oh and the hold downs. I mount ed mine off the 'carb' studs. Might have some decent pics in my first thread. I did it all myself w a drill press. Used a 10 degree angle to aim the injectors at the ports.

No need to add any more bolts. I've never seen anyone else do it on any application of the 2114.
