Engine oil / trans cooler

I am in a bit of a dillema. They guy i bought my project ty from only had the radiator from a regular jimmy and he said that the radiator doesn't have an oil cooler in it. OK. I don't know the truth of this, maybe someone can clarify.

Secondly, if I choose to run that radiator, I was thinking of using a Perma-cool Dual circuit cooler so I could cool the engine oil and the trans fluid as well. This would be the cheapest way to have all these things together. Does this sound like a good idea? I see a lot of you run tranny coolers.

on the drivers side of the radiator on the engine side, there should be 2 threaded holes about 1/2" one at the top and one at the bottom. that would be where the oil lines go for the cooler. if you dont have them, then you dont have a oil cooler.

on the passenger side on the engine side, there should be 2 more smaller threaded holes, about 3/8"-7/16", one at the top and one and the bottom. this would be your trans cooler.

if you dont have any threaded holes and only have the upper and lower radiator hose and petcock valve, then my guess is that radiator is not what you need.

I was under the impression that the stock oil/trans coolers were insufficient? Correct or no?
