what are the best things to do when rebuilding the 4.3 V6
here is what im doing sofar,
I beam rods, forged pistons, 4 bolt main caps.

whats a good cam to use with a upgrade 650 cfm turbo

best thing to do is probably call one of them and ask as you have already started the rebuild...most common 412, 415, and 422.

I don't think cam really matches turbo as much as it does heads, computer, valve train, etc.

basically, it is a pretty braud question without knowing what you are doing.

what's happening now, block crank rods pistons all being Cryogeniced,

bolck 4 bolt main, decked

rods are Eagle forged H-beam - Je forged pistons all sharp edges cut down, -top and sides of pistons coated,

( oil sqirters being installed to spray oil on bottom of pistons, )
high vol, oil pump welded pick up tube.

oil pan is bigger 2 more qts, and a plash shield being installed.
new dipstick location

vortach heads ported coated, and custom intake to bolt on the heads.

50lb inje

custom cam

roller rockers

balunced

Garret turbocharger Gt3582 ???
new down pipe with belt in waste gate

2800 stall conv,

wide band commander

mega squrit

?? what head gaskets and is there anything i should add or do or not do .????????

got a great head gasket thread going now...take a look.

most are saying do comics, stay away from felpro.

Would really like to see the oil cooled pistons setup.

Something that I'm sure yur doing but I haven't seen mentioned is balancing.

just got the bottom end finished with the oil sqarters
look like its going to work real slick

picking up the engine next week
looking at turbos gt35r or gt40r anyone with info on the gt40r
