*****update********
i updated my build thread with a couple current photos of the syclone. (link in first post)
i updated the original post with photos of whats included with the sale.
i updated the original post with the rough milage its 60 something on both trucks i don't remember exactly.
i emailed the first 2-3 people that responded (trying to be fair) but there's about 10 people screaming they have cash in hand and want to come get everything tonight, and im really tempted to skip people and tell them to come get it. i know i'm selling way cheap i don't care i just want everything gone asap.
im going to wait till 9am tomorrow morning to let them decide, then i'm going to take the first person that paypals me $1000 deposit to e-rue@turbotime.us
I want to fully disclose everything i can think of so that you are not surprised by anything when you come to pick up.
Syclone: its in decent shape and it runs..... has more parts and mods on it than i can even list. follow the link online. What it needs is the new rubber trim attached to the door panels and the passengerside door panel reinstalled. the screws are in the cup holder. It also needs an actuator installed/fabbed for the new monster 67 turbo. I have always had issues with the plug wires on the ATR headers, after about a year they start to fail and it will miss a little under full boost..... but if you want to swap on the stock manifolds (i always did) i'm giving you a set as well.....or is it 2 sets.... anywho, The timing cover is a new style 03+ tensioner TSB kit, and because i removed it without dropping the oil pan it has always seeped a small amount of oil. i always mean to fix that but never got around to dropping the pan. it also has a modded syty oil pan on the new 03 block which is a mismatch, so if you ever get around to dropping the pan install one of the newer aluminum pans on it. The paint isn't what it once was, and it doesn't look as good as it did in the older photos online because its been outside for a year. The engine is a stock 20k mile 03 shortblock with fully ported vortec heads and welded intake manifold. the top end of this engine is stoopid nice. also has a custom grind fast ramp 212/218 cam (this was the first iteration of what later became the 218/218 we sold tons of online)
the spare built engine has a new style cast aluminum oil pan on it with a bung, eagle rods, SRP pistons, 218/218 cam, tensioner TSB timing set, ported vortec heads converted to LS1 valve train, and (2) different intake manifolds. the shortblock is assembled but the top end is not. I believe all the pieces have been bought to finish it up.
the second spare shortblock is just a 20k mile 03 totally stock.
the typhoon has seen better days.... you can see in the photos what the damage is. its going to need some body work, which i know nothing about. i had 2 different guys look at it and both said it was an easy fix and wanted to do it but both guys were expensive. the tree fell on it just as i was finishing up the new engine for it, and i really lost interest after that happened. im pretty sure i have at least enough spare parts to build 3-4 syty's and i also have a ton of left over performance parts. i also think i have most of a parted out syty on the mezannine of my shop at home. all of this would go to you as part of this sale.
pick up should be arranged for the weekend of the15th of december. (im in costa rica next week)
as far as logistics.... you are going to need a trailer for the ty for sure, the sy runs but its been totally converted to E85, and has no AC or wipers (it was a toy/racecar) so I'm not sure if you can map a route home that has gas or bring gas cans with ya, also going to need the bed of the syclone plus another truck to take all the spare parts home. maybe you have a plan?.... its a lot of stuff. i can help you load, i dont mind, but don't ask me to ship it for you. not going to happen.
