I'm not going to use the words, every year I do and I don't show up so (shhhhhhh)

the truck is now running thats all I'll say (so maybe I can make it)

BigAl...

P.S. the ****ed up part is I probably live the closest to Gary.

Re: FAST Miami 1/08

I'm definately meeting with my Columbian friend in Miami to have LaCarreta... it's been years. I have a few things to fix on my Sy, but most will probably be done before this trip...

Passenger Window motor (Jordan and I are doing this Friday I hope)
No 4th gear (some valvebody problem or seal on servo)
Wastegate doesn't control boost enough in top of 2nd gear with line directly to actuator
some cladding tabs are still broken, I've fixed nearly half of them
AC needs condensor, dryer, new rubber lines(Amazon for $45)
wilwood front brakes needs new pads, maybe rotors
need heater core
upper IC needs plumbed water or new front mount
need dustan kit aligned...maybe new pins from Waller
no radio or speakers, might take the Sony cd from my ty or buy new one
SPA boost/fp gauge isnt turning on
needs kick panels...Ian might replace my q forms? :)
needs new wheels or rears straightened....maybe Gary has something for sale? (I love the GS ones )

Other than that, it starts with my new 8.1 big block starter and new ACDelco battery and has nearly 80psi oil pressure with 12AN filter lines and 1 quart filter.

I think it has a mid-high twelve in it with stock chip/turbo... it weighs 500 pounds lighter than my first Sy!

can i come, even if i dont have a ty by then?

yup. but all attendees who dont own a truck must perform at least one burnout.

Re: FAST Miami 1/08

Might want to start naming off some projects needing to be done while in Miami. Last year, we basically showed up and shortly after had Gary's Ty up in the air doing a fuel pump.

Assuming my truck is making it, I will probably be swapping my stock valve covers with the plastic vortecs.

burnout??? no problem!

yep. garys place is easy to find. its the house with all the rubber laid down in front of it and around the corner.

Re: FAST Miami 1/08

The current theory is that my Syclone will be on the road before end of year, so I should be able to make this. Of course, nothing has EVER gone according to plan with this truck, so who knows... ;)

i'll try to make it again.

in that case, lets bring john again.... it was quite funny when he wanted to fight warren in his drunken rage. I believe it was also warren who was getting yelled at while John ripped up the singles

Re: FAST Miami 1/08

Harmon and MrKing....I'd be interested in joining that caravan. I haven't had my Ty out enough to trust it on a 5 hour road trip. Or mabey I have had it long enough not to trust it.

Either way, I am interested. I'm still awaiting the final nod of approval from the "boss" to go however.

I am having HVAC issues and I have both an ABS delete kit and a steering shaft to install. I would also like to hook up with someone with Data Master to make sure my truck is running as good as I think it is. If all of that gets done, cool. If only one or none of it gets done, that's cool too.
