So today, I dropped by the house of the widow I bought my Ty from...she told me there were a bunch of parts found in the garage...Factory GM manuals, original radio, intercooler, exhaust, heads, block, extra headers, spare tire assembly, wheels with centers, turbo, rods, T-case, front diff, complete instructions for the accel dfi that is in it, original floor mats...I know its not really the lotto but sweet to get it all back with the truck.

Chances are this lady would have paid someone to come and clean out the 'car parts' that were left behind and chances are they would go to the recycler.
She did him a favour and he did her a favour, I'd call that about even.

congrats. my grab bag of ty goodies were in the ty when i got it. no surprises.

When we made the purchase agreement it included all pieces and parts laying around...I knew about the rims, and the block but the other stuff was found in the midst of a bunch of vette parts. I did offer her something for the stuff she had found but she refused saying her late husband would have wanted me to have all of the parts.

Extra Headers? Yep, I have no idea what brand they are but they are complete, both headers, x-over, and down pipe.

As a side note I now know that my Ty has the Baer Claw brake set up front and rear, it also has ATR full exhaust and according to the receipt it has an ATR "modified" ball bearing turbo....must do more digging to figure it all out!

I'd say your in the clear and it was your lucky day...don't let anyone bully or talk down to you on here about what transpired with her giving you the parts....just don't pay any attention to the people who wish they were in your shoes. ..:lol:

Thanks guys, I don't take anything personal at all. Gotta have a thick skin to hang out with my friends! Not really sure what I want to do with this thing. Its got so much stuff done to it, does not run currently...old school electronics, not sure I want to invest the $$ to finish it. I guess I can always stuff it in the back of the garage and get to it later if I chose.
