I went thru the engine and everything looks good and it sounds great. No ticks, knocks or any other weird noises. Trany shifts fine and goes thru all the gears. Brakes are all in good shape. The rear air ride was taken out but the compresser will go with the truck along with the ac lines and original fog lights. Thats all in the tot bin in the one pic.

Is the engine all stock? how many miles? and if things don't go well, how much would you sell the engine only for..?

The motor is all original from what I know.

A basket case that has potential. If I found this truck more local I would offer you $2500. If someone was to get the mechanicals in better then now condition it would make a awsome beater, you could buy a rust free ready to go Ty for what it would cost to restore it to new unless you could do the metal work your self. Good luck with the sale, :tup: on not being interested in parting her.

You are correct but it you look at what I did to it you would of seen that it has new head gaskets, new intake gaskets, new valve cover gaskets, new distributor, new cap and rotor, new plugs and wires, new water pump , new radiator, and a new belt tensioner, that shit wasnt free and the motor was part way torn down when I bought it. It is now back together and running but will still need a new turbo since the seals are shot in it.

People ask the question because they want to see how much the seller is trying to make on the truck. Once they establish the seller's purchase price, they now have an edge during negotiations. Either the seller can answer the question, or they can say that information is not available.
