well it is snowing and 35 in ny today but this past sunday it was 70 so i decided to take the truck for a little cruise.Now if u have been folowing the build i pretty mutch redid everything in the truck so i started it up and i must say i am glad i bought headers now it sounds awesome brought it outside let it warm up ,checked all the gauges almost 80psi oil and about 150 on water temp so i pulled out of the shop and went down the road ,i had john waller build me his bigger trans and it shifts and works better than the stocker did no joke,so after about 5 miles i pulled over to check out everything and to my suprise no leaks no smoke no nothing just perfect so i hopped back in a drove had windows down and was tearing up the back roads with the radio playing i ended up putting about 130 miles on the truck and i got to say everything is perfect all my lines coolers fittings etc.the truck runs and drives down the road i swear better than a stocker even with the 415 cam the 67 turbo and the 75 injectors phills chip tune is just about dead on the money it runs about 14.0 on the wbo2 in open loop and never moves and that newer style s10 radiator and the edelbrock pump i think help out a lot it stays at 160 and dosent move.so after about 100 miles i pulled out of a side road at gave it alittle 3 pound roll on and ill tell u what this thing sounds awesome and man i can tell this damn thing is gonna run real well.Again i am glad so far i have bought the headers in a few weeks i am going to bring it down to nc so we can do some dyno tests etc and hopefully do some runs with it ,only time and boost will tell what is gonna happen but as of right now it runs i swear better than a stocker.
