Hello.
This might be weird but figured Id give it a shot. Im looking to get an entry level rig job in alberta.
I figured maybe someone on here works on one or is friends with HR of some oil company, and would be able to secure me a job this upcoming season. Details still to be worked out. You would be responsible for transit from Ontario. But yeah Id give you my truck.
Its fully functional, and I would do everything on my end to help ship

Re: Free typhoon

I know some people from my last jon in the enviromental business. But before I do anything, what qualifications do you have? Do you have a air liscense or what exactly are you looking for in employment. Also what about your truck? Year, color, mileage etc.

Right now Im working as a mechanic on payloaders, and diesel water trucks(Not licenced) . In the winter I was running loader for 5 hours and waiting for loaders to break then go fix them, the other part of my 18-22 hour snow shift. Ive laboured for bricklayers for 3-4 years. Setting up scaffolding, cutting brick, mixing mortar. Lots of misc. forklift experience( Hd gas counterbalance, LP counterbalance, electric reach truck, electric double pallet jack) Have current counterbalance fork and propane handling. My overhead crane expires this month. I had h2s alive but it expired last year. No airbrakes. I was just looking to get on a oil rig as entry level lease hand.

92 Typhoon Has leather interior cd player 8/10 overall interior with brand new tires new rear shocks and belltech lowering leafs, Urethane front sway bar bushings. Mini high tourqe starter. Newer intercooler and pump as well hard lines changed to soft. Fresh tune up (cap rotor wirs plugs timing) Brand new windshield. New torsion bar bushings New hi flow cat and muffler. Has ultimate chip not gauge style(not mounted). Along with new 3 bar map sensor and accufab afpr. Needs a hood(have a spare one needs painting) heater core started to leak at the end of last season so it is bypassed at the moment. Has that dash hissing noise.

Thanks for any help

92 white grey, had 96k in 2010. Search posts. Still missing hood?
No it has a hood but the latch broke and it smashed the windshield. I took the hood off to get some of the dents out. Now it has hood pins. So it has a hood just with dents in it. I have a green hood with hinges to paint and put on. and a freshly painted cowl that has to be installed after new hood.

I'll copy paste this and send it out to Fort Mc.Murry and see what he says.

Re: Free typhoon

I'll take a look. I work deep in the oil field. Best is to head out and start dropping off apps in Nisku, just south of Edmonton.

Drilling has slowed down a bit here, though, right around edmonton. North has more. Check Precision, Trinidad, Akita, And Nabors. You'll need your h2s and first aid at a minimum, and then likely some other safety courses (IRP 16, I think?).

Looks like you hit the honeypot of Canada oil here.

Not knowing anything aboot your situation,I'd get all the certs and then tell some ****er to hire me,because I'm the most badass worker you'll ever see roll through here.

Then after a month or 3 tell them you need a $2/hr raise.

Because you're worth it.

I like your style Jimmy. Thought about just packing up and going out there but I have to sell the ty and the people that have shown the most interest wondered about the towing capacity. One said they would just have to cut a hole in the bumper for the hitch.
