That is an extremely nice project ;-)

Props for individuality and not following the typical Mustang crowd.

Thanks for the comments.

Andre......You mean in his backyard with grass growing over it?....then yes. We went out to the local downtown gig where the brothers were last night and we were trying to get lined up against a supposed monte carlo with slicks that ran high 10's on the gas. But they wanted me to spot them 5car lengths and the hit. I wanted to go heads up and they said no way. Then once they found out I had a "whoopah-chargahh" it was all over and they were too scared. They called my motor a "chickenhead" motor (whatevera the hell that means). Im thinking it means someone taking a stock engine thats all choked up and running a huge turbo or something on it. I dont know. It was fun though just talking to those guys. At 19lbs now, if I wack it at ~60mph, it wants to go sideways.

The tystang ran a best of 7.61 @ 98mph tonight with a shitty 1.899 60'. I left off idle off the line and had to peddle most of the way down the 1/8th b/c of was spinning the mcreary's hard enough to where it would over-rev and backfire. So most of the 1/8 was 1/2 to 3/4 throttle at around 3500-5000 rpms. After letting out at the 1/8 it would coast to a 12.6 @ 82mph. I know there's a ton left in her. This was at 19psi pump gas and 2560lbs without me in it. And I still have alot of weight to remove. I figured with this 60' in the quarter it would go 11.80's at 124mph. Still peddling and not wot. Man if i can just bury the throttle or even get a couple psi off the line it would rip. Most of the time i'm just waiting for it to spool up through the first 60'. Anyways, I thought i'd tell ya'll what i got. Time for the 3.08's. :)

Man Warren I wish. My rearend is stock with the exception of 3.55 gears. If I put on some slicks, then those 200,000+ mile c-clips will surely pop and my wheel will pass me up at the track. Would be kinda cool though. Im gonna have to build the whole rear. I was thinking Strange 33spline axles, c-clip eliminators, spool, 3.08's, and some Bogarts with the Hoosier QTP's on them (28x11.5x15).
Ground Rat.......My camcorder was stolen about a year ago, so if maybe Adam or Ian (Orlando Locals) wants to tape the car, then thats fine with me. Im not sure when i'll be back at the track. Im gonna set the pinion angle today to see what it'll do.

HOly ShhhhNikeys. THe rear pinion was at +1* in relation to the driveline of the trans. I set it at roughly -4* and it all looks alot better. I just wish the roads weren't wet now so i can go and "tune" the suspension. :)

They are all talk. They wanted me to spot them something like 6 cars and the hit for their monte carlo running nitrous and slicks. I said lets race straight up and they backed down. Then they said, "time to see how much balls you got," after they wouldn't run straight up. After a couple hours of dealing with them and not getting a race set up, we just left. I'll never go out there again...Too much like masterbation without the payoff in the end.
