Front support flanges

I have a front bumper support that I picked up that has the two mounting flanges removed from it. I looked in to having new ones made, but since they are not the same (right is different from left) it will be cost prohibitive to make them (my guy quoted 300). SO...

Does anyone have a mangled up front support that still has good flanges (the riveted mount)?

Re: Front support flanges

Jeff, I have a support I can offer complete. It is off my truck.

I bought like 5 supports and did not like any of them they were all worse than the one which was on my truck. (truck was backed into driver side). I retain my original one. But I am not going to use it. If it is something you may want ...

The one on my truck has Minimal rust, is in very nice shape finish wise. Has them brackets.

You can see the slight wave which is on my support. I was very hesitant to bang, hit , or heat the part up.

I will never use the part. I was so frustrated with every other one I bought I had bent this one out by hand. This one is by far- no where near ANY of the ones I have re-cycled.

any interest, blast me a message

Re: Front support flanges

I'll take a look today but I'm quite sure I could CAD those up and cut you some brackets.. I'd do it for WAY less than $300..

Re: Front support flanges

I decided to CAD them up even if you don't want a set.. I like having this sort of stuff on file.

So I could totally cut these out for you but I have no nice way to make the bends that are in them. If they were for me I'd just throw them in a vice and bend them however(BFH) but I know you guys like your stuff nicer than that..

Re: Front support flanges

$30 + shipping for a set that is just cut and still a flat piece of metal.. It will need to be bent and welded.

$40 + shipping cut, bent, and welded. Please keep in mind that I don't have a bender that these would fit in.. I'll make the bends as nice as I can but they won't be perfect..

These prices are for unfinished mild steel. If you want fancier metal(stainless) I'd have to get pricing on that..

Seriously, I am pretty mechanically adept, but I am constantly impressed by what you are able to do. Nice work.
