For Sale
**SOLD**
1992 GMC Typhoon
60,000 miles
White (originally wht/gry)
• Borla 3" catback
• Julio’s Alkycontrol Meth kit
• 17" Budnik wheels
• Lowered 2"
• KYB Monomax shocks (air compressor still on board)
• Belltech anti-sway bar
• New lower balljoints
• New lower A-arm poly bushings
• New pitman
• New idler
• ZQ8 quick ratio steering box
• Jeep u-joint steering shaft
• Billet grille insert
• Stock 16” wheels with Kumho KW19 winter grippies with only 100km on them
• Aeromotive AFPR, 255lph Fuel Pump, 50lb Injectors, TD06-14cm-20G not yet installed
The engine is solid, no smoke even at startup. Transmission shifts nice and solid.
Overall, I'd have to give the truck a 7/10. I've certainly seen worse but it does have a few leaks (oil return line, rear diff seal), couple small spots of rust (it's solid and clean underneath - California vehicle), and had been in Japan for an unknown amount of time so some of the rubber is deteriorated. There had been an aftermarket drift bumper on the front which was screwed to the front cladding. I’ve sourced and installed a stock bumper but a few screw holes remain. Otherwise it is a really decent truck and my wife loves it.
I am out of the province a lot and my wife is still finishing nursing school plus we're opening a restaurant chain. My new highway car is forcing our hand at selling to make room for parking. The wife lost the coin toss when it came time to sell a toy.
I don't have a firm price set yet. I'm contemplating replacing the upper control arm bushings as well since they're sitting here, and I do have some parts I was anticipating to install (fpr, 225lph pump, 50lb injectors, 20g). But we're thinking something in the neighbourhood of $11,000...who knows....ultimately it has to go.
