Well here goes nothing....hoping to sell my Ty and start my search for a 1st gen Camaro project… I'm sure I will own another one of these soon but going to go a different route for the time being.

Little background on the truck: I am the 3rd owner. Original owner bought new in OH and I bought from board member FASTSUV in November of 2007. I drove it for a couple weeks and began the teardown. 18mos later I have a finished product.

Project thread can be seen here - http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=67876&highlight=1606

Engine - All of the internal engine work was done by the previous owner at approx 88k miles. Truck now has 97xxx. I added/cleaned up the entire engine bay and I do have the receipts for everything listed below.

Stock block
Nitrided stock crank
L35 heads
Eagle forged rods
TRW forged pistons
Harland Sharp 1.5/1 roller rockers
Crane Hydraulic Roller Cam
Melling Oil pump
PTE51 turbo w/3" downpipe and cutout - internal wastegate w/new actuator rod
RPM 3" stainless exhaust (I have it dumping out right in front of rear axle)
RPM Dual Electric Fans with Aluminum upper/lower shroud
Edelbrock water pump
A2A front mount intercooler - polished piping/Treadstone performance silicone connectors
Knockoff HKS SSQV blow off valve
Manual boost controller set to 15psi (rock solid)
50# injectors
160 deg thermostat
Jeep steering shaft from board member fivetodrive
Kenne Bell AFPR

Exterior

Repainted in March '09 with Sikkens Arctic White (Corvette white)
Clear corner lenses
HID headlights
Black GMC grill letters
Shaved "escutcheons"
New Gray Typhoon logos (GMC Truck Motorsports on tailgate)
Brand new PPG windshield and molding
New wipers and wiper arms
Rear wiper delete
Roof rack shaved
Morxchn style Gunmetal Z06 wheels w/polished lip (17x9.5 all four corners)
Federal SS595 275/40/17 tires (maybe 300 miles)
All new plastic rivets attaching the cladding

Interior

8-9/10
Seats are in excellent shape - very little sign of wear
NO cracks in dash whatsoever
Carpeting is perfect
3 gauge pillar pod (Ultimate display, autometer boost/vac, tranny temp) - tranny temp not hooked up
New headliner
Manual fan override switch

Miscellaneous

Ultimate Gauge style display with chip for 50# injectors (current setting is T2F5)
A/C delete
ABS delete
Cruise control delete
Tranny cooler mounted to core support w/aluminum brackets
Jeg's small radiator catch can mounted where vapor canister used to be
New stock style radiator
Rebuilt 700R4 tranny - have receipts from previous owner
Bilstein shocks - installed by previous owner
Belltech 3" drop leaf springs w/1" blocks and pinion correcting wedges (bought from Jags That Run)
Front lowered by turning torsion bars
New power steering pump/pulley
Optima Red top battery
K&N 3" air filter
3" Cobra elbow off the turbo
Completely rebuilt turbo in April 09 (bearings/seals)
Polished Typhoon plate on upper intake
New stock style distributor, ignition module, coil
Just did tune up - new cap, rotor, plugs (NGK UR6 gapped to .28), wires (Taylor 8mm Spiro Pro), fuel filter
ALDL cable for datalogging
New GM knock sensor
ECM relocated to glove box for easy access
HKS Turbo Timer
K&N Breather filters on both valve covers - NO PCV
New GM torsion bar mounts
Tons of new hardware throughout the truck
RPM Braided turbo oil drain line with -AN fittings
RPM Brake Booster hose

Bad:

Undercarriage has a fair amount of rust. I blasted away as much as I could in the rear and shot with rust protector matte black paint. It is by no means rotted out.
Radio works fine but CD player likes to eat CD's
Need to replace 1 wheel stud (I have it just haven't gotten around to replacing it)
Gas gauge doesn't work (pretty common from what I understand)

Overall minus a few little things this truck is solid. 1-2 shift is very firm but not bone-jarring : Turbo spools quickly and it hauls ass. Datamaster estimates 430hp. I would be happy to send Datamaster files to anyone interested. NO check engine lights! There is a small amount of knock when accelerating lightly OUT of boost (3deg of spark retard) so I'm guessing it's false but NEVER goes above 2deg at WOT under 15psi.

I paid $10,500 18mos ago and have a lot more than my asking price into it.

*****$12k OBO*****

Truck is located in Madison, WI

Here are a couple pics of the truck I took on Sunday. I'll try to get some better ones as long as the weather holds up tomorrow. The interior shots are from when I first bought it but nothing has changed. If anyone wants specific pics of anything let me know.

Tell them to look it up if they doubt the price vs age. It'll open there eyes.
