I have been really looking into either one of these or a lambo over the last few months. The one thing that I just can not believe is the service that comes with these cars even with very very low miles on them. Some of the exotics have only 15k on them for miles and are on there second clutch.But I will say I like this one very much...

Brian, just buy yourself a nice, clean low mileage Z06. For $40-45K, you can have a fabulous car that doesn't require sky-rocket maintenance by professionals every 3000 miles and I promise, it will do everything (and more) performance wise that these or a Lambo can do with much greater reliability.......except rev to 8500 rpm without blowing up ;).

Exotics are nice and all but in the end, little more than a status symbol. Beautiful car though, Tony!!

Yeah, I think the 15k mile service price for a gallardo is around $15-20k. That's a built motor and turbo kit for a c6z every few years.

The 360 is much more manageable. Standard oil changes cost $1200-1500 (pretty sure they check your tire pressures and wiper fluid level in that fee as well). The 15K mile service is around $4000-6000 but Tony has already had that done :tup:.

What many people overlook is the insurance, tire and clutch costs for Ferrari's....and if you don't have Brian's money, financing costs will milk you too.

The clutch was near 65-70% to the good, last year when it was in for its service & I havent drove it that much since then. Believe me these cars are a blast to drive and arent as of a headache as some make them out to.

Shawn a zo6 is a great car but its still just a vette. Most guys that say that Ferrari's & Lambo's are just a status symbol are absolutely wrong. These cars are just the cream of the crop of all sports cars & if your truly a diehard motorhead you would understand why people buy these car. I have many go fast cars & believe me these cars may not be the fastest but they are definitly the funniest to drive.:tup:

Here in Charlotte we have underground racing a high end shop for exotics. I am teased at least once a week when I see one on the road..

Ya I know Kevin & KC(Brothers & owners of ugr). They are putting out a lot of fast cars. I actually went to TX2K13 a couple of months ago & Kevin had his Twin Turbo Aventador & it was just amazing.
