Fuel Pressure Guage

Has anyone attached a fuel pressure guage where the fuel filter meets the fuel line...versus the Schraeder valve... any other thoughts...either way, should i use an electric or mechanical unit to monitor my Fuel pressure while i am driving...any help appreciated...I have stock fuel pump and adjustable fuel pressure regulator...

Use an "electric" Fuel Pressure gauge.... several of the older members debated the mechanical vs. electric standpoint for awhile.. believe the conclusion was the mechancial gauges weren't always reliable and didn't have the accuracy... something you don't want when the possibility could arrise of grenading a motor...

First things first though... replace/upgrade your stock fuel pump...
