i got the part number for the fuel sending unit assembly for SYTYauthority.com, but how much does the unit cost and is it readily available, can i just go to autozone and get one or is it a GM dealer only part?

I just got one from this company:

1A Auto Inc.
site: http://www.1aauto.com
Info: 978-433-3393
Order Line: 888-844-3393

They are in Massachusetts. You can get it on their website for $113 shipped in the US. I received it and it looks to be a good quality piece. I am installing a Walbro pump and figured I'd just replace the whole assembly to avoid any rust issues. Hope this helps.

i had the rust issue, i kinked one of the fuel lines, i believe it is the return line, since i need the truck(daily driver) im going to just put a hose over the line and hope it holds.

Dont just clamp it...? does that mean i can clamp it, it would only be a quick fix and i would probably get a new unit relatively soon.
