Hello, i am the owner of syclone 1339. Trying to get it back on the road after sitting since 2008. Truck runs really good but at wide open throttle it acts likes it runs out of gas. Basically you punch it, thing goes like hell then shuts off and then goes like hell again. Im thinking its fuel related but thought id ask here first if anybody has experienced anything similar?

I dumped about 5 gallons in it upon start up (gauge reads 1/2 tank) but tank has a big dent in it and the gauge fluctuates a lot. So i thinking maybe the pick up got knocked off the pump whenever the dent happened. It only does it from a dead stop and lower mph launches. From a 60mp roll it doesn't do it at all.
