Just though maybe more than one of us have had an encounter with a bike , went for a ride today with a buddy, a few boost launches and we are on are way back to my place for a beer, i noticed one headlight moving up rather quickly so i figured lets see what happens, he was at about my rear tire

when i got on it, you could hear him trying his best to pull on me it just did not happen....................poor HARLEY :rotf: :D, does anyone else have some stories?

I always seem to have a guy on a Harley try to keep up with me when they see me on my Duc. It's funny and scary at the same time. There is a place up where I am from in PA where alot of bikes ride on the weekends. I will blast by a Harley through the twistys(because they are going too slow) and they try for the life of them to hold on.....Usually w/o a helmet. I see them in my mirrors getting smaller and taking the kind of chances they shouldn't on a Hog....and why do most of those guys wear leather "chaps" and have little leather strings flowing from their grips??

I wasted a Harley once. But he started it. Not much to brag about though.

Interesting fact though; 87% of Harley's built since 1903 are still on the road. Only 13% actually made it home. :lol:

I had a guy at the strip try me with some crotch rocket - I don't know what happened to him, but I came out really hard and he didn't have a chance the whole way after that...

Guys,
Harley's have their place.
They are simplistic and easy to work on.
I have one and enjoy it.
Unlike alot of riders I give respect to all people on two wheels.
I will put money on the fact that my poor Harley will dust alot of Ducati's and others
in a 1/4 mile run. I don't disrespect anyones choice in bikes or four wheeled transportation.

Rolling your eyes for a response is very mature.
I was just trying to point out that not all Harley's suck.
Overpriced underpowered from the factory? Yes!
As alot of folks here have proven you can get alot out of machines if you combine the correct parts.
