fuse/electrical question?

Radio is absent in my syclone; rear view mirror?courtesy lights don't work nor the lights at your feet on both passenger and driver side(they should light up when doors are opened); if bulbs are new, then which fuse needs to be changed? Sorry that the explanation is awkwardly written...

Horn/ dimmer work fine...Let me clarify..the reading lights(rear view mirror location) and light bulbs(at your feet) don't work...thanks

OK, the #10 fuse that says "radio" which should be a 10 amp, goes to the radio and rear view mirror reading lights. The horn/dim fuse #3 goes to the courtesy lights (Interior room lights) and is a 20amp (should be). I think this one also feeds the cig. lighter. You may have more than one blown fuse or bulb, or even a busted door switch... try the instrument panel light dimmer switch and see if you can turn on the interior lights. It is best to take a test light and check the fuses. You can check the fuses with them installed in the fuse box by touching the two metal contacts on the outer end of the fuse. If one side is hot (test light lights) then the other side should be hot also... Good luck...

Ok..Fuses all good... dimmer & horn work fine...radio is absent....cigarette lighter unplugged....however passenger electric window doesn't work....so if this is the culprit, then where/how do go about testing/changing the switch...any help is much appreciated.....thanks

Passenger window motor is most likely the problem, if you have a rubber mallet, hit the door with it on the inside door panel, on the lower section with the key on and holding the window switch down. Usually the brushes inside the motor will stick ocasionally and need "reseating". If you are concerned about leaving a mark, wrap a good thick towel around the rubber mallet, it won't leave a mark, unless you try to... If the radio fuse is good and you don't have power to the reading/map lights on the mirror, and the radio is still dead, then look up and see if a connector is not plugged in to the fuse panel, above and around where the fuses plug in, you need a flashlight and the ability to twist your head around about 180 degrees.... Some fuse panels have a cavity with a male spade terminal in it right by the radio fuse where this wire should plug in... It depends on where/when your fusebox/harness was made. The others have another area where the connector should plug in to, above the fuses. I can email you a schematic, if you need it, or just get a haynes/chiltons manual with good electrical schematics in the back.
