Gas tank drain?

Do the Ty gas tanks have a drain anywhere?

Just checking before I siphon all the gas out...

Not that I know of.. Sys dont. Just run a hose off the factory service port on the fuel rail to a container and jumper out the FP to 12v. Let the FP do all the work.


(needless to say... if your FP is dead this wont work)

i just drilled a hole in the gas tank, that seemed to get all the gas out pretty quick.

I wouldn't recommend drilling a hole in the gas tank.

Metal tank + drill bit + spark = story you MIGHT be able to tell your grandkids about.

I prefer to do it the good ole fashioned way and drive the gas out. A 1/4 tank of gas is fairly easy for two people to handle. Obviously if you can't drive your truck to get the fuel out it is going to be more difficult.

Yeah Bdubb, everyone knows you got use a ziz wheel (cut off wheel) when doing fuel tanks! Jeez a drill bit??
