Try Me

bHey Guys,
I am making some changes to my truck this winter and on of those is in the intercooler dept. Im trying to get some idea if anyone would be interested in buying my old dual front mount setup.
I don't know a ton about it, Randy had it installed when he still owned the truck (he paid $1500 for the kit back then). It was listed in the paperwork he gave me as a CAS Dual Air-to-Air Intercooler. It has one core behind the grille, and a second core in series down where the factory heat exchanger is mounted. It uses 2.5" charge pipes.
This was originally one of those setups that the charge pipe came up from the drivers fenderwell, wrapping around the intake above the distributor.
I love the way this setup looks on the truck, but like i said im making some changes for next year. I have no idea on the price for something like this. I no longer have the original charge pipe configuration, but I would probably include all of the charge piping that is on the truck now to have something to start with.
Here is a pic of the old charge pipe configuration
Here is a pretty good shot low enough to show the bottom core.
I really have no idea where to start with price on this. A RPM kit is $1200 for a complete kit, Mccoy still lists one for $1600 so front mount "kits" for these trucks arent cheap. This isnt a complete kit but it sure seems to be a RARE item for these trucks. Search CAS dual air to air and the newest thread is from 2006.
I know the rules discourage this, but feel free to post opinions in this thread. Like I said there is nothing to really go by as far as others for sale etc. I would rather not pull these from the truck until after the Hooters NJ meet in two weeks.
$800 and they are yours. Let me know what you think. That will include the dual cores, couplers for connecting the cores, and I will include the charge pipe I have now coming from the turbo to intercooler, then the bottom pipe coming from intercooler to inside engine bay (that one is unmodified). Only thing you will need then is a pipe from there to the throttle body. That price would also include shipping.
Anyway thanks for looking!
