GM code 42

Has anyone gotten this code before. I have looked online it suggest a ground fault in the EST electronic spark timing. I have found info on testing different things but thought if anyone else had gone down this road before they might could offer some hints.

By the way, I just got a crate Jasper Engine in my truck and can't wait to get past the break in period.

check the tan wire under the passenger side carpet.....that wire throws a code when you disconnect it for timing adjustment....

My bad....I was thinking of ESC....
