Dodge never made the Sidewinder (Dakota sportside w/Viper V10) or the Copperhead (same weak v-6 as prowler but with a hardtop)

Maybe there will be variations, but I doubt you will ever see 100% of what you see in a concept in the actual product delivered from any of the car companies.

I wouldn't get my hopes up for either of them until something hits the showroom floor.

yeah, but they made the Viper after it was already scrapped and published in a book of "Cars Detroit Never Built", plus the prowler, PT Loser, the crossfire POS lookin thing, and they have promised to make the Ram SRT-10. GM has.......the SSR? which still remains to be seen? blow me GM!

just a 6

R.I.P MyClone
And Chrysler is coming with a 5.7 liter Hemi V8 to replace the old 5.9 V8.

Chevy won't do shit....It will take the Real Division, GMC, to put something like this on the market...The only way Chevy will put something like this out is to turn the trail blazer into a 3/4 ton 7000 lb. land yacht....then put the 400 hp in it, might as well put twin tubo's on a 5hp briggs and stuff it into the avalanche...

It is running 8.5 pounds of boost with 8.5/1 compression. You could probably up it to 18 psi and get around 500 horsepower. Hmmm... TyphoonII ?

I love how they spelled syclone "cyclone" what a bunch of morons!! I have the issue here. If someone wants to host the pics I can scan it in. Just shoot me an E-mail.

It's snowing real hard out so I might leave early in case I don't reply right away.

Somewhere in that rag with the rustang on the front, it mentioned the gm s-series replacements for 2004 will have either a 5cyl. 3.5L na or a 5 cyl. 3.5L turbo engine, based on the 4.2L six. I am thinking, 200hp na and 300+ turbo.....lets see 270 hp / 6 = 225 for 5 cyl. Throw 10+ lbs boost...300+, that sounds more like it, no concept, just make the damn things!!!!

I went to the detroit autoshow last year and a guy from GM told me that they had a prototype pickup that had around 500 naturaly aspirated HP. The vehicle never went into production. I later found out from one of my students (I use to teach at BGSU) that his dad worked on the project. The problem GM had was that ford at the time hadnt even come close to thier projected numbers on the lightnings and GM got scared and backed out. Id be really supirised if any of the "super trucks" actualy make it into production. Performance vehicles just arent the craze right now

When I was looking for a low mile syclone I also looked at the Vetts and Camaros and they will just about bend over and take it right now to sell one. Although impalas and tahoes and pickups are moving fast.
