Thermo Tec makes a decent adhesive backed heat reflection sheeting to wrap stuff with.
I used it on my upper and to wrap some braided lines under neath.

I'm gonna try the Taylor Vertex heat shield plug boots just on the DP side.

Or you could take a 1" hole saw and go nuts on the rad support.

I'll look them up.... Ever since i put my ATR upper on, i've never felt a 'cool' ic, like i used on the stocker.... And i dont like the idea of having that HOT turbo/dp right under the ic... can't help.

Thanks man

I used one of those foil type sun shades that you put on the interior windshield to wrap my Conley IC. I cut it out to fit, and taped the corners
with 2"foil tape (NOT duct tape) from Home Depot. Didn't do the top so I couild put ice for cooling it in the staging lanes. It's be on for 2 years with no problems. It won't melt or burn. If you take your time with the cutting, wrapping and taping, it will look nice too.

Mike

PS. Use 2 layers on the bottom

Did you notice a big difference?? Either with mat temps or just by the 'touch' of ur hand?

I was just looking at this stuff...

This is a 3' x 3/4" tube made for wires. I was going to use that for the solenoid wire rather than messing with the tape. It'd be expensive, but it'd be reusuable on plug wires and stuff...

I just found a 25' roll of 1200* insulated tubing in JC Whitney for like $13 or something. And it comes in natural tan, or several other colors including red. I was looking at my father in law's catalog while we were camping, but I can't find it on their site right now... Probably not quite as good as the more expensive stuff, but for that price I think it's worth a shot...

I dunno about the other stuff, but my purple wire and my main starter wire were shielded by simple heater hose that was slightly bigger than the wire itself.

Worked great for months without any problems.

Cheap and effective.
