Ground wires in engine harness

I'm sure Dave can answer this off the top of his head, but maybe someone else can too.

I'm making myself a Sy engine harness from a bunch of harnesses I purchased (long story, but I bought 2 that were supposed to be complete and uncut, they were both far from it, one member stood up and refunded, the other became a doghouse member right after I bought the harness:( ). I have a 93 harness complete that I am using for reference. The 93 harness has 2 grounds at the back of the head, and 2 grounds at the front of the intake by the t-stat housing. Both Sy harnesses only have 1 ground at the back of the head. I just want to make sure this is correct, and that something else wasn't cut out that I haven't found yet.

Any help is appreciated.

I think you're correct. Hint: Don't install that ground at the back of the head. PITA to access, just install it at the rear of the intake. Mush easier access. There is also a separate ground strap that runs from that spot to the firewall.

Thanks Don, this truck that I'm putting together I have adjustable motor mounts and have it ahead a little more than usual, so I can access this without too much issue. I have the firewall ground on there too, I just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing a ground, and have to take the harness back out to find it.

So it looks like there is a difference in the 93 harness. Dave had mentioned about a change in the ground for the ABS, and it looks like that is my extra ground. I haven't confirmed 100% yet, but I hope to do that just to be sure.
