Help Engine Problems!

I just got my typhoon 3 days ago and i bought it knowing it had problems. But anyway when i get on it and give it boost it stutters around 3-4,000 rpm's it boosts to 15 but the tach and engine stutter. I think it just needs a good tune up. Like clean under the valve covers, change all the fluids, change all the vaccum lines and probably the cap, rotor, spark plugs, and wires. I hope this will correct the problem. If this sounds like a common problem and is easy to fix let me know about it. The Undercarriage also squeaks a lot when taking a left turn and going over bumps, It is NOT the CV boots or 1/2 shafts I know because i just changed them on my 4x4 blazer and the ones on the typhoon are in good shape so i am thinking it is probably a cross member or something. again let me know what you think.
Thanks

k i checked that search out it basically confirmed that i need a good tune up, but another thing i noticed is the oil pressure gauge is low. My blazer always shot to the top above the 80 mark but the typhoon is at about 60 when i am driving and when i apply the brakes it drops to about 40. This really concerns me i don't want to throw a rod or anything. There is plenty of oil in the typhoon i am just worried the oil pump might be failing on me. Again any help with this is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

GM spec is like 8psi or something insanely low like that. 40-60 is fine. I don't remember for sure, but the stock oil pressure gauge may be as inaccurate as some of our other gauges too...

Dump the oil. Once it's drained, pour into a bottle and look for metal particles left in the drain pan.
Remove and drain the oil filter.
Cut it open and look for metal particles stuck to the filter media.

There is a port on the remote filter that you can use to install a mechanical oil filled gauge.

Spend the $35+fittings and find out what your oil pressure really is.
If the mech. gauge jives with the dash gauge you could be in trouble. If the mech. gauge reads higher, replace the oil pressure sending unit.

If you blazers guage shot up past 80, it was broken. The sending unit commonly fails.

This is a new GM long block with new GM oil pressure sender in a 1993 Typhoon.

Checked at about 3000 miles after first oil change (Mobil 1, 10W-30 installed) engine at operating temp. Stock dash gauge reads:

25 psi @ idle
55 psi @ 3000 rpm

Unless you are running a 20W-50 oil, the Blazer's 80 psi is too high, I'd install the new sending unit.
