Help: installing Ty center console in non Ty

I took the console out of a wrecked Typhoon and drilled out the spot welds. So I have all the factory brackets to attach it in my Tyclone. Now years later I'm ready to install it and dont remember where. lol Anyone have any pics or measurements where I weld the brackets to the floor?

My extended cab had a different center console in it before, so the back of the 'gold bracket' bolted up to an existing mount. So then all I had to do is make a front mount.

That doesn't help you at all.

Also totally unhelpful but I have my console off and could have taken pics for you.

Can you take a pic of the measurement(s)/ reference points you need and I can ask my Dad to take pics of the centre console etc? Maybe we can get something useful?

Have you tried to set the console shell in the vehicle to maybe see where the contours of the bottom fit with the floor? It does have a unique shape to it. :2cents:

On my install I had an existing back bracket in place and made the front bracket. Almost like your front piece.

No because I have to commit to do this ad ale out the B&M shifter therefore immobilizing te truck till I put in the Ty shifter/console. Maybe I'll just do it

I see your delima. I found pics of the cable through the floor location somewhere when I did mine. i'll see if I can remember & post them.

The rear of the console is 1.5" behind a line between those two plastic circles with the X in the middle - are they the mounting points for the seats?

The console mounts to these points - are these indentations in your truck?

I connected a cable between the two furthest forward screws on the trim to get a parallel line across the truck.

It ran in front of the centre console by about 1/4" max.

Does that help?
